How to Change APN Settings on Vivo Devices?

The correct APN (Access Point Name) settings are essential for a stable and fast data connection on your Vivo device. The APN links your Vivo to the mobile network, enabling internet and other services. Most eSIMs, like Llega’s, come with pre-configured APN settings, but if your device doesn’t automatically detect the settings, adjustments may be needed. In this article, we’ll show you how to edit your APN settings on Android and fix common problems. Keep reading to enjoy the best connection!

How Does the Llega APN Works on Your Vivo Device?

By default, Llega eSIM comes with pre-configured APN settings. However, if you’re facing difficulties with the connection, such as activation failure on the specific destination for which you purchased the eSIM, you may need to adjust them manually.

The Llega APN for Android devices is simple: just enter “Global” in the APN field to enable data and services. Keep reading for a step-by-step guide to set it up and ensure a smooth connection.

To Set Up APN Android Settings on Vivo:

  • Go to Settings  Network & Internet  Tap on SIM card and mobile network  Scroll down  Select your Llega eSIM.
  • Scroll down and tap on Access Point Names  Check if there is an APN labeled Global and select it. If it doesn’t appear, you’ll need to create it. To do so, press the + button  In the Name field, type Llega to easily recognize it  Then, in the APN field, enter Global  Tap the three dots at the top right  Choose Save  Once the changes are saved, select the newly created APN (Global)

Troubleshooting Tips

1. If your Llega APN settings are configured but your internet connection isn’t performing optimally, resetting your APN settings on Android can resolve connectivity challenges and restore default configurations.

Resetting network settings erases saved Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth connections. Back up your passwords first, then follow our steps to reset network settings on your Vivo for smooth connectivity.

To reset network settings on a Vivo Android phone:

  • Go to Settings  Scroll down and tap on System  Select Reset options  Tap on Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth  Finally, tap on Reset settings to reset your network. (If prompted, enter the PIN you use to unlock your screen and tap Next).

2. If your device is within the coverage area of the eSIM plan, the APN is correctly configured, and resetting the network settings hasn’t resolved the lack of internet, try changing the operator manually.

3. If your device is from another brand, like Samsung, HuaweiXiaomi, Honor, or Pixel you’ll find step-by-step guides for each one to help you easily set up your Android APN settings.
